PPDS (aka: Philips digital signage) has strengthened its management teams in North America with the appointment of three audiovisual professionals, Adam Coleman, Mitch Rosenberg and Jeff Handis (photo).
As part of PPDS’ strategy for continued growth and expansion – including attracting the most highly regarded and successful AV professionals in the industry – the new appointments bring an additional 90 years of sales leadership experience to the team. In the newly created role, Mitch Rosenberg has been named PPDS’ new LED and LCD video wall manager. A major focus area for the company in 2022, PPDS has made significant progress in the direct-view LCD and LED market over the past 12-18 months, with a series of highly innovative product announcements and high-level installations in a variety of vertical markets. . Key announcements include the Philips DV LED 6000 series (enterprise) and the high-brightness Philips DV LED 7000 range (retail, public places), with an all-new LCD solution to be announced at InfoComm 2022.
Reporting to Vince Schuster, Commercial Vice President, Professional Displays for PPDS, Rosenberg will be responsible for driving awareness and new business opportunities across PPDS’ full line of Philips LED and LCD solutions in North America. This includes strengthening and extending PPDS system integrators and channel partners, providing them with more in-depth insight into the unique advantages and opportunities of Philips professional displays over competitors, with whom Mitch and Adam have previously worked. .
Working alongside Rosenberg, Adam Coleman becomes PPDS’ new solutions manager for LED and LCD video walls. He joins the team to develop and expand support for Philips’ X and L ranges, with a focus on direct view. Coleman will oversee the development of strategic training and learning programs for all levels, including sales training, installation/service support, and integrator/end user training.
Jeff Handis, who began his broadcast career in 1988, was appointed PPDS Channel Manager – Distribution & DMR, overseeing the growth of key distribution and DMR partners, and working with their teams to drive the business.
Handis has extensive experience in the professional AV and consumer electronics industries, having held several sales leadership positions with some of the world’s largest organizations.
All new team members will be present at InfoComm 2022 in Las Vegas (June 8-10, Philips Booth #N2021), where PPDS will make a series of important new company and partner announcements, as well as the unveiling of a range of new products and solutions. Products announced at ISE 2022, including the new Philips E-Line interactive educational displays, will also be on display.
