The delta of records | A fun filled fair coming to Lewis County


WESTON – Many events have been closed due to the pandemic; However, the Lewis County Fair is set to return as scheduled on Wednesday, bigger and better than ever, with five days filled with events and new attractions.

From September 22 to 26, participants of all ages will be able to enjoy all that the Lewis County Fair has to offer. The event will take place at WVU Jackson’s Mill Air Strip in Weston, providing plenty of space for vendors and fair visitors to space out and socially distance themselves.

With five full days of rides, a circus, a rodeo, muddy bogs, a car show, exhibits and more, there will be something for everyone.

Throughout the week, festival goers will see Emerald Creek Farm’s Pumpkin Patch, Taylor Farm’s Pony Rides, Paint Misbehavin’s Face Painting, Caricature Drawings by JR Earls, Cartoon Headquarters Bounce Houses, a hay maze, games, a sensory tent and much more. others exciting exhibits and vendors.

This year, the Lewis County Fair is proud to introduce Myers Amusement to the Midway, open daily.

The program and prices of the event are as follows:

Wednesday September 22

5 p.m. – 10 p.m. $ 10 / person door

Kids Night Kick Off with three different hours of the circus show, and the bounce rooms are free with paid entry.

Thursday 23 September

5 p.m. – 10 p.m. $ 10 / person door

The circus continues with three show times, LC Fair’s Got Talent contest, bounce houses and encounters with Space Jam characters.

Friday September 24

5 p.m. – 11 p.m. $ 10 / person door

WV Youth and High School Rodeo at 5 p.m. and Michael Bonnett & Rivers Edge on stage at 9 p.m.

Saturday September 25

9 a.m. – midnight $ 15 / person wearing

Car show, mud swamp, cute baby contest, meet and greet Disney princesses, Power Wheels drag races for kids and mud swamps, backyard Olympics, rodeo, burnout contest and luminescent dance party with DJ Salty Dog

Sunday September 26

10:30 a.m. – 5 p.m. $ 10 / person door

Exhibitions and mid-term closing at 5 p.m.

Everyone, including children 1 year and older, will need to pay an entrance fee, which includes rides, parking, rodeo, and other entertainment. Hand sanitizer will be available throughout the exhibition grounds. Each vendor is required to have a supply at their stands and each ride will provide a disinfectant before and after a ride. Bathrooms will also be filled with disinfectant inside and out. Please use common sense when attending the fair.
