Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will take part in the ‘Jan Vishwas Yatra’ – a road show launched by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday to expand its reach to the public ahead of the elections of the State assembly scheduled for next year – which will reach Ghaziabad on December 25, officials of the BJP State Unit have confirmed.
The “Jan Vishwas Yatra” was launched at six different locations across the state – Bijnor, Mathura, Jhansi, Ghazipur, Ambedkar Nagar and Ballia – on December 19.
“The yatra is organized to showcase the achievements of the government over the past four and a half years… the progress, as well as the development made by the BJP government, has helped us to gain the trust of the people. . As part of the yatra, our leaders will interact with the locals. Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath will attend the yatra in Ghaziabad on December 25 while other leaders will hold public gatherings, ”said Chandra Mohan, spokesperson and secretary of BJP state unit.
The BJP’s Ghaziabad unit also confirmed the arrival of the chief minister at Christmas.
“The CM will participate in the yatra, which will reach Ghaziabad on December 25 … The rally will start from Kalka Garhi Chowk to Thakurdwara, a distance of around three kilometers. The rally is expected to last around three hours, as there will be a large number of people who will want to attend the yatra, ”said Sanjeev Sharma, chairman of the municipal unit of BJP (Ghaziabad).
The rally will move along Ambedkar Road, Chaudhary Morh, Ghanta Ghar and finally to Thakurdwara, which is on GT Road.
The CM launched the party yatra from Mathura on December 19.
“On December 25, other BJP leaders will hold rallies in Muradnagar, Loni and Sahibabad while the CM will attend the yatra in Ghaziabad,” said Ashwini Sharma, spokesperson for the BJP municipal unit.
