Giants news, 2/26: Northwestern HC praises Mike Kafka, more

Hello, New York Giants fans!

Pat Fitzgerald: ‘Superstar’ Mike Kafka is the right man for the Giants

“Absolutely, there’s no doubt in my mind,” Fitzgerald, Northwestern’s head coach since 2006, told The Post on Friday. “First of all, he’s a man from the North West, so he’s incredibly brilliant. He was incredibly dedicated and just a relentless football player. He played at a high level and knows what it takes to get there. happen so he lived what the players will have lived.

“And he was ready to grind. He came here, he got into a sort of non-coaching role with the Chiefs and seeing the way he’s grown in this profession, I think he’s a superstar. I think he’s going to do a great job there with the Giants and then the sky’s the limit for Mike. If it’s to be the head coach here, I hope he gives me a few more years.
