Hay fever sufferers rave about £4 ‘miracle cure’ tablets found at Asda, Tesco and Boots

People who suffer from hay fever flock to buy ‘miracle cure’ tablets found for as little as £4 in Boots, Superdrug, Asda and Tesco.

The extra strength tablets were previously only available with an NHS prescription, meaning you would have had to consult a doctor before getting your hands on them.

However, fexofenadine hydrochloride, sold in stores as Allevia or Treathay in the UK, is now available in major pharmacies and supermarkets.

The popularity of the new drug saw the tablets sell out much to the disappointment of some.

However, The mirror reports that hay fever sufferers “have not felt this good in a decade.”

One social media user said: “HAY FEVER SUFFERERS Allevia is now available over-the-counter and I haven’t felt this good in summer in a decade.”

Another added: “I went from having the worst hay fever you’ll ever see in your life to feeling like I never had it. Allevia you cured me.”

A third said: “Those who suffer from hay fever, stop using Piriteze tablets and buy Allevia tablets – this will stop your sneezing or itchy throat in seconds xxx”
