Kasoota song from Ghana: Raftaar, Surbhi Jyoti’s dance number is a perfect party track (watch video)



After making audiences laugh with his comedic skills on “One Mic Stand 2”, Raftaar has now dropped his dance number titled “Ghana Kasoota” where he appeared alongside Surbhi Jyoti. The track was launched amid massive fanfare across the globe, as Raftaar and Surbhi posted the release countdown online. Rapper Raftaar is the first Indian artist to accept cryptocurrency as a fee.

‘Ghana Kasoota’, which means ‘Totally Awesome’, is a catchy track that mixes contemporary hip hop beats and the desi flavor filled with vocals from Raftaar and Rashmeet Kaur. Speaking about the song, Raftaar said, “The past two years have been quite trying and trying for most people and with the end of year festivities starting this month, I wanted to release a song that was more festive and entertaining in mind. “Ghana Kasoota” is all about waking up every day and feeling good about yourself, no matter what. “This song is about freeing your inner child, grabbing your favorite dancing shoes and setting the ground on fire and it’s been a while since humanity did that!” he adds. Raftaar and Salim Merchant team up to greet the spirit of migrants with a new song.

Rashmeet Kaur explains the vibe of the song, as she puts it, “’Ghana Kasoota’ is a fun party song that represents the hassle-free attitude of millennials and how they live each day for what it is.
