Mumbai, Oct 24 (UNI) The Narcotics Control Bureau said on Sunday it had taken careful note of allegations of threats and bribes made by a witness during the raids on the ship.

Speaking to the media, NCB Southwest Regional Deputy Director General Mutha Ashok Jain said NCB Area Director Sameer Wankhede had “categorically denied” the allegations.

He stated that part of the content of the affidavit related to vigilance issues and therefore it was passed to the Director General of the NCB with a request for further action needed, ”Jain said.

Referring to bodyguard Sail’s complaint, Jain said that since he is a witness in the case which is now pending, “he must submit his prayer to the honorable court rather than via social media if he has Something to say”.

He also said that Sail gave details of her movements and activities on October 2 (the day of the naval raid) and “allegations related to vigilance against certain people in the affidavit which are based on a hearing” by the witness.

The developments came hours after Sail dropped a new bombshell, including accusing the NCB of allegedly demanding bribes from Bollywood megastar Shah Rukh Khan to free his son Aryan Khan.
